DOCTOR WHO 1/6 SCALE TARDIS (BIG CHIEF STUDIOS 2016)
BIG Chief Studios are proud to announce the Limited Edition 1:6 Scale Collector Diorama Environments and introduce the 11th Doctor's TARDIS.
Doctor Who fans have been eagerly waiting for the TARDIS and this is the most accurate scaled reproduction to date.
The Time Lords of Gallifrey use the TARDIS, which stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space and it's is an advanced piece of technology that can transport its occupants to any point in time and any place in the universe and is dimensionally transcendental, meaning it’s bigger on the inside than the outside because the interior exists in a different, relative dimension to the exterior plus it can blend in with its surroundings using the ship's “chameleon circuit”.
Unfortunately the Doctor pilots a stolen, unreliable, obsolete Type 40, Mark 1 TARDIS and its chameleon circuit is broken, leaving it stuck in the shape of a British police box after a visit to London in 1963.
Being a lot sturdier than it appears, the TARDIS has managed to survive missile attacks, extreme temperatures, gunfire, alien onslaughts and even the assembled hordes of Genghis Khan and although the ship is both ancient and remarkable, it is an icon of hope and remains harder to defeat than many would first imagine, like the Doctor himself.
The artists at BIG Chief Studios spent months studying all the available references including permission to access the actual shooting prop to ensure that the TARDIS is the most exact replica in every detail by selecting the most appropriate wood to achieve an accurate scaled grain effect and even spent time on the lantern that adorns the roof to make sure that every detail was carefully reproduced and the attention to detail on ths huge piece is breathtaking.
Produced in sturdy, heavy weight polystone, the TARDIS has an internal illumination system, a light-up lantern, an opening door and interchangeable series 5 and 7 control room backdrops plus the rooftop is removable to access the battery compartment.

Sometimes old toys and comics need to find new homes or owners to appreciate them and add them to their collections. For this purpose we buy and sell pre-owned items.
For some collectors it is a great way of getting an item they missed out on the first time around as many of these figures are no longer produced or are available to order from suppliers.
Pre-owned means the item may have been removed from packaging and handled or displayed in a previous owner's collection at some stage. Sometimes the item and parts can be put back into the original packaging.
Pre-owned items can come as boxed, loose but complete, or with parts/accessories missing. Packaging may also be scuffed or display shelf wear or other damage. If you are looking for this item in a brand new pristine condition , you may have to go to Google and look for another site.
Each listing will have photos that display what parts and accesories will come with the item when you purchase a pre-owned item. What you see is what you are getting so please check the photos carefully.
Each pre-owned item has been checked and cleaned. Condition can range from very good to buried in a yard for years. Defects and or repairs will be in the description.
